Tev is a nonbinary and queer sculptor and printmaker from the Midwest. They are currently completing their Bachelor of Fine Arts in Integrated Studio Practice at the Herron School of Art + Design. Their recent works focus on the importance of rest in a society where “Grind Culture” is more valued, illustrating the ways capitalism forces people to put their needs aside. Tev’s recent pieces illustrate the pressures of capitalism and the necessity of self-care, balancing lightheartedness with heavier themes to encourage audience reflection on personal well-being. Tev's work has been exhibited at Storage Space Gallery and Eskanazi Fine Arts Center, among others.
